Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of technicians in maintaining and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment used to bake and package high-quality bread and rolls. This position upholds the bakery’s priorities of Personal Safety and Food Safety while fostering an environment based on integrity, respect, accountability, and proactive thinking.

Troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling industrial equipmentPerforming inspections, lubrication, and rebuildsElectrical troubleshooting and system resetsWelding, soldering, brazing, and plumbingOperating maintenance tools (drill press, grinders, band saw, etc.)Resolve mechanical/production issues in collaboration with other departmentsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities related to safety, quality, and productivityContinue personal development in leadership, communication, and technical areasAdhere to and enforce all safety, food safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standardsReport safety, food safety, or quality issues to appropriate personnelSupervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervise maintenance staffPlan and assign work schedulesConduct training and performance evaluationsAddress employee complaints and resolve conflictsCoach and discipline as neededLead the hiring process for team vacanciesQualifications:

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED (required)2+ years of supervisory experience (preferred)4+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experienceIndustrial maintenance background strongly preferredOther Skills and Abilities:
Operates forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, and mobile cartsComfortable working at heightsStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudeWorks well independently and within a teamKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Effective email and written communication skillsAdditional Knowledge and Abilities:
Working knowledge of building codes and electrical wiringAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsUnderstanding of materials, tools, and industrial systemsFamiliarity with machine operation, maintenance, and safety protocolsOther Requirements:
Must be able to travel occasionally (up to 5% annually) with noticePhysical Demands:
