 Bachelor of Science (BS) in electrical engineering with 3+ years of experience in related
engineering discipline
 Familiar with the use of test equipment to verify harness design and assembly.
 Knowledge of harness design, fabrication, and installation standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620,
NASA-STD-8739.4, and MSFC-SPEC-494.
 Experience with selection of connectors, backshells, wires, and other harness components.
 Understanding of electrical grounding requirements and how to implement proper system level
grounding via wire harness design.

 Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
 Ability to work well in a team, be proactive, and execute with minimal guidance.
 Detail-orientated and able to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
 Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., cable
routing and
 geometry, WHIDs, IRMs).
 Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action
requests,
 and shop revision requests).
 Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture
of electrical
 commodities.
 Develops basic statements of work.
 Analyzes functional and physical input to ensure development of complete integrated design.
Qualification:
 Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
