Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Material Review Board (MRB) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The MRB Engineer will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and resolving non-conformance issues related to aircraft structures, systems, and components. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure compliance with design, regulatory, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and disposition non-conforming parts, materials, and assemblies through the MRB process.
• Perform structural and system analysis to assess the impact of discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, stress, and manufacturing engineering teams to develop effective repair solutions.
• Ensure all MRB actions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Prepare and document technical justifications for repair or rework activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance MRB efficiency and reduce rework.
• Provide technical support to production and quality teams regarding MRB-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for MRB activities and corrective actions.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years of experience in MRB engineering within the aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, composites, systems, and materials.
• Experience working with aerospace industry regulations (e.g., FAA, TCCA, EASA).
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks) and analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound engineering decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
