Job Description & Skill Requirement: Solder Technician Level II
Overview of Position
Role Summary: The Solder Technician Level II demonstrates leadership in communicating, developing, and executing repair functions relevant to the production objectives. Supports daily activities in repair activities, validation activities, and develop reports associated with end product testing. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise in Electrical Technology to solve problems in a manufacturing setting.
Essential Responsibilities
• Repair products assigned per shift using solder equipment, tools, and testing equipment.
• Analyzes repair content orders to system specifications and implement changes to resolve problems.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing and quality teams in the qualification process of assembly integration to production systems.
• Record procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method.
• Assists engineers in developing and designing repair criteria where applicable.
• Trains other technicians and operators on products, processes and equipment.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Certification in J-STD-001
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting repairing and inspecting PCB Boards.
• Able to repair through hole technology, surface mount technology, and identify common inspection errors
• Ability to read electrical schematics and design records.
• Ability to interpret and execute repair procedures provided

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
