Job Title: Process Engineer (Continuous Improvement Manager)

The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing industrial
manufacturing processes to ensure efficient operations by analyzing current processes, identifying
areas for improvement, and implementing changes to maximize output and minimize waste while
adhering to safety and quality standards; they often work with other teams to troubleshoot issues
and maintain process documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean
manufacturing, Strong, independent decision-making skills to drive projects with minimal oversight,
and strong intrapersonal skills to develop project ‘buy-in’.
 
1. Technical & Process Optimization
•           Conduct workflow studies to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
•           Initiate and oversee process improvement projects to enhance productivity and eliminate
waste.
•           Develop standardized work procedures and staffing plans in conjunction with department
managers in line with ISO 9001/14001 standards.
2. Capital Project Management & Execution
•           Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and milestones.
•           Oversee contractor bidding, selection, and performance evaluations.
•           Monitor project progress against budget, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making & System Development
•           Implement systems for data gathering, validation, and trend analysis.
•           Identify early failure indicators and recommend preventive actions.
•           Provide structured reporting on project progress and operational performance.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Best Practice Implementation
•           Maintain communication with contractors and suppliers for compliance and technical
advancements.
•           Facilitate knowledge-sharing through internal and external networks.
•           Drive adoption of best practices across the site.

Skills and Certifications [note: bold skills and certification are required]
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
High level of leadership skills, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adap
Possess advanced technical skills in the mechanical/electrical fields (e.g. PLCs, instrumentation,
Resource planning management
Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order process, preventive/predictive
maintenance,
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Capable of communicating and expressing ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and oral
form
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal, technical and presentation skills required.
Compensación: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
