Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Job Description:

The Process Engineer will drive the deployment of optimal  disassembly and material handling practices using LEAN methodologies.

The scope includes but is not limited to: 


  • Specifying the type of test to be performed, compiling data, and making recommendations for product design changes and final assembly standards. This will include the use of Design of 
  • Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis using Six Sigma principles.
  • Ensuring alignment between operational processes and environmental, safety and quality standards.
  • Identifying critical risks to deployment of standardized processes, and recommending, developing, and implementing solutions to mitigate such risks.
  • Failure/Data Analysis: Plans, develops, and implements technically complex procedures for the testing and evaluation of soon to be released products.
  • Sets standard practices and independently settles impact to design approaches and parameters to the final product implementation. 
  • Deep experience deploying lean (along with the requisite change and program management) in an evolving industrial setting
  • Successful development and implementation of new technologies that improve production quality, capacity and efficiency
  • Collaboration skills, including the ability to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders to brainstorm, pilot and enact operational processes
  • Project management skills, including the ability to meet tight project deadlines
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to collect and leverage data to drive decision making
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master's degree a plus)
  • 4+ years providing continuous improvement solutions via Lean and/or Six Sigma in an assembly/manufacturing environment
 Skills:

  • Deep experience deploying lean (along with the requisite change and program management) in an evolving industrial setting
  • Successful development and implementation of new technologies that improve production quality, capacity and efficiency
  • Collaboration skills, including the ability to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders to brainstorm, pilot and enact operational processes
  • Project management skills, including the ability to meet tight project deadlines
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to collect and leverage data to drive  decision making
Preferred Qualifications:
  •  Lean Certification, Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certification, Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Compensation: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
