Role: Manufacturing Engg Lead
Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Job Description & Skill Requirement:
New Manufacturing Assembly / Machining Line set up in Greenfield and Transfer lines from one VSM to another VSM in Brownfield environment.
Setting up New Manufacturing line as per Industry 4.0, high technology Automation and exposure to Digital Manufacturing concepts.
Tracking and presenting the customer Metrics in PQVC (People, Quality, Velocity and Cost) to Leadership.
Preparing, maintaining, and updating documentation related to operating procedures and safety and quality standards; ensuring all processes and products meet desired safety and quality standards.
Supervising and directing the daily activities of production lines workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance.
Training new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Job-related experience (preferably in manufacturing)
Team Lead or Supervisory experience
Experience in Customer Service, Manufacturing/Supply Chain, and/or Operations
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Ability to demonstrate leadership competencies.
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment Experience in the areas of Quality, Distribution, and Maintenance
Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers.
Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Degree or equivalent experience desired
