Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. NC Program Development:

• Analyze part prints, manufacturing operation sheets, and NX part models to develop and modify Numerical Control (NC) programs for various 2, 3, 4, and 5 axis machine tools.
• Utilize NX CAD/CAM graphical system and Turbosoft + airfoil programming software for program development.

2. Technical Expertise:
• Provide machining and development teams with expertise on potential machining challenges and their impact on surface properties.

3. Program Refinement:
• Independently develop and refine NC programs, showcasing proficiency and initiative in program optimization.

4. Process Optimization:
• Determine optimal feeds, speeds, and tool selection for a range of milling applications.

5. Collaboration and Optimization:
• Collaborate with machine operators and Manufacturing Engineers to optimize machining processes and enhance machine tool capabilities. 


Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years' experience in engineering, manufacturing, technical, or related industrial fields; or a Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles.
• 5 or more years of experience in programming 2 - 5 axis machine tools using Unigraphics and Vericut CAD/CAM software systems.
• Proficiency in CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) languages, machining techniques, and machine tool capabilities for effective program design.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, including experience with Kaizen events or involvement in continuous improvement programs (ACE, 6S, etc.).
• U.S. citizenship is required.
 
 
Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
